as far as i remember it was 2 long chapters before it got an official volume release. and i actually read the prequel before the main story cause it gives you insight on what the hell happened to Geto and how Yuta, the initial protagonist of the story, became a jujutsu sorcerer. all of this is important to the main plot too. the movie adaptation is also fire im ngl so you can just watch that if you want but i highly recommend that you don't skip it
Ahh I see, yeah for some reason I skipped that volume and just went straight into JJK, when I learned Yuta and Gojo actually had a prior manga or whatever I didn't care to read it since I don't really like either of their characters, but I'm kinda in the mood to re-read JJK so I thought I'd give it a go. Thank you for your reply though, I think I'll try reading it!
you're most welcome!! for me, i was glad that i read the prequel before the main cause the story flowed really well in my head for some reason later on and i'll never forget the way my jaw dropped on the floor when Geto reappeared out of nowhere with a stitch on his forehead it left a really strong impression ngl and kept me on edge every single week cause I was dying to know wtf happened with him or how is he here lmao. can't believe all of this is coming from someone who actually dropped jjk after being obsessed with it for 5 years. still i adore this story very much cause it's one of the first shonen manga i've ever read and followed from the start T_T
(maaaan all of this talk is lowkey making me interested in re-reading too and actually stick with it till the end this time )

Has anyone here actually ever read the JJK prequel with uhh whatever his name was, and if you did was it any good? I actually never read it, is it something worth reading or should I skip it?
