According to novel, he doesn't care. Because he wants to avoid marriage from his father. He said from his own mouth that he doesn't even believe the kid is his in coming chapters.

im pretty sure regardless of whose kid it was the ML said he doesn't care (see previous chapters) he's going to take responsibility...the only concerning thing is "why would he take responsibility tho" without knowing who's child it was and why is he actually doing all this for him?
Obviously we know Asel isn’t lying and that it’s really the MLs kid, but realistically, ML should hold off on making any promises to Asel. He doesn’t have a paternity test, there’s the possibility Asel met someone else around conception, he had a vasectomy which I’m sure he paid big bucks on to trust that he’s sterile, Asel should have a hard time conceiving, and he doesn’t even trust Asel 100%, yet he’s alr promising marriage and responsibility. What if that wasn’t his kid, then what?
