At this point "AI art" is just a guess people state as a fact.

Hate AI as much as the next person but in this case, I really don't think it's AI. It looks like tracing instead where they use a real photo and blur it before drawing and coloring over it. A lot of smaller artists with tighter budgets have been known to do it since before AI and yes you can always tell because it looks wonky ╥﹏╥

To be clear, I have no problem with artists using real pictures and tracing, or having anything in the art a bit wonky as a product of budget constraints. Understandably, artists would most of the time have no choice but to sacrifice quality to maximize efficiency. I just don't like the AI.
Totally get where you're coming from and honestly I also think the phone content and car assembly look like they could be AI. But I also think they just used some 3D models for buildings and other bgs. Actually you could include all their office settings too. In any case, it's definitely not hand drawn and that's why the contrast always stands out. Ironically using tracing methods and computer assisted 3D models used to be heavily criticized and looked down upon too. I heard there were even series cancelled over this. But now in the face of AI, everything else seems tolerable now
