Ohh this is interesting to read, I didn't know about the existence of that term, but it makes a lot of sense. I would say it was a messy situation because I didn't know what to call it when it wasn't actually incest. Thanks for sharing.
Literally what is this shit.
Like I love this dynamic (their personalities NOT the weird forbidden stepsibling shit) SOSOSOSOSOSOMUCH but its so ICKY that they're ACTUALLY family now. Like genuinely what was the reason for that? They did NOT need a shared sibling between them, that shit is so fucking foul--and before everyone starts-- NO it was NOT needed to further the plot. I could name 10 other ways the author could have moved the plot forward WITHOUT making them so weirdly connected like this, and half of those other ways would have even cut off their "familial" ties altogether and rid us of that God awful trope.
Either way im irritated because atp there really was NOTHING ELSE Geon could have done but leave (Which I think was very mature of him), and even though im irritated at how this shitshow is playing out now because I genuinely love them as a couple--- I fear I do in fact support Geon's persistent refusal of the MC, as their situation has gotten WAY too fucking intertwined and weird for any other solution, and honestly I think the MC should have stayed away, atleast until the author pulled some magical solution out if their ass to fix this mess.
