oddly drawn to this story because of the suffering that euihyun goes through and his resilience. his struggles with his mental health + taehyun genuinely caring about it fills a void for me. and yea, it js feels nice to see someone care so much for someone else.
but ofc this is an extremely flawed story and shouldn't be considered romantic. in theory, this seems fine, but in real life this is abusive and no one who previous treated their partner like shit will suddenly 180 and dedicate every aspect of their life to them. this is what abuse victims THINK is happening, when theyre really js getting love bombed </3
I always find it absurd when people try to solve such complicated problems with the power of "love" and, of course, the prince charming who comes with financial stability so that everything magically works out.
It doesn't seem like the guy has any option to help himself; he's just trapped in someone else's bubble.
I also think that for over 80% of the story, the poor guy is just trying to deal with this psycho who comes to torture him physically and mentally whenever he wants.
I'd have to switch my brain off to the next level if I want to find that charming.

review excluding extras:
That was the phrase "I'll fuck you till you love me" in manga format, quite disturbing if put into action. Basically, it's lacking; the seme's entire modus operandi was just rape and then, for some unknown reason, obsession with the uke.
The uke was only there to "fix" the seme with the power of his anus and Cinderella-like existence. At no point was there anything other than sexual relations. There's no development in getting to know each other on an individual level.
In the end, all that remains is a feeling of dependence and the superficial justification of alpha and omega. I mean, you can do that, but don't try to sell it to me like it's a fairy tale. (I'm referring to the people who try to recommend and defend it.)
It's just a rather immature and juvenile idea put into action and justified with ignorance and inexperience.
But if you're interested in that kind of story, I think this is one that at least puts some effort into it, so
