I mean, the character design is interesting and the plot has its uniqueness, but the ML circumstances are... a bit controversial. I've read till chapter 42, and it does seem like he's not exactly growing up with the FL as much as he's remembering knowledge from his previous incarnation (previous dragon), but if you have a strong aversion to even alluding tropes, I can't recommend this.
Small spoiler tho. She also occasionally will shrink when her power is exhausted, and he pretty much is "grown up" by like chapter 42-45.
