I think they needed a separation because no one can save you besides yourself so i'm not complaining about the ending in that sense. BUT. nothing was resolved before leaving each other to work on themselves. Did Yoojoon know Jiho was being assaulted and was stuck in an abusive relationship? Did he know he has abandonment issues because of his dead mom and being abused by his dad? He did not understand the depth of Jiho's suffering and probably holds some resentment because he does not know. They probably have side stories lined up but it still pisses me off that authors use side stories to resolve issues brought over from the main story. What does side story mean to you?? I've never reacted so viscerally to a manhwa where my hands were shaking and i couldn't eat bc of the story contents. The poorly executed ending was the cherry on top to piss me off. I'm writing this long ahh paragraph just to cope with how much i'm tweaking right now.
