Love how the story paints depression for what it is. I have high functioning and once I've hit the edge I become low to completely dysfunctional. It's a terrible feeling by far and on a normal day I'd say it wouldn't mix but for these two and how the story is written, while codependency isnt always healthy, I think this is the best move for them both. They give each other a reason to live or at least try to, which is more than enough to attempt to find some routine. That is, once our lovely timid lover boy comes back. Really like how the way it's written doesn't mitigate or gloss over their experiences but shows a sense of compassion (like care despite all odds or reasoning). It's really refreshing
