I don't think guwon has any intention of killing that kid at all, that's why he said "You don't know who I am. Thats why you look so scared" and that he looks a bit intimidating. He may just want to ask him if there are others in his group and probably take him back to the community. He definitely does see himself as some type of 'saviour' to those he brings back into the community
