In the spirit of being a tease and telling nothing, the MC will get back home and there will be a HAPPY ENDING. I mean every misunderstanding you THINK you have will be solved. I'm actually ready for it to be over SIMPLY because when the MC returns that final stretch I am EXCITED to see how that is drawn especially all the characters cause Dojoon got a mug and an aged Dojoon could be ....
