It’s funny how everyone is trying to justify Guwon. LMAO. He’s a psychopath and an evil murderer and it doesn’t matter that the Mc is an unreliable narrator. Some say he has a backstory, others say the Mc is imagining things, some say he has a reason for his evil. Bullshit. I have never seen people try to defend anyone like this before. Coming up with several fake theories the author never even hinted at just becuz u all don’t want to look bad for liking Guwon. You all can just embrace that u like him as a black flag like the way u all like Zhenya instead of bringing up rubbish to make Guwon seem like a green flag so u can all feel better about yourselves. LMAO. Hypocrites

I think he is a monster and is evil under human standards, but he's not human either so for what we have read he doesn't really comprehend concepts of Goodness and Evilness. For what author has shown he is someone who lives under the premise of beasts: the stronger gets to live and the weak gets eaten. Which makes sense if his not human. The thing is I believe no one knows yet he is like that, an evolution of the zombies. He can think and learn for what we can see, but we don't know until what point he can feel.

The ones reading this just for the smut are the sames in every work so don't get pressed on it but also you should think more about this work, because applying human standards under Guwon is a mistake. He's kinda like Frankenstein's creature and should not be read as something different (a murderer, a psycopath ar both adjectives for humans, for instance).

This is a really good take on guwon. I am still a hater and lowkey want him to suffer but this made me stop and think for a second. If the author is writing his character around the premise he is some evolved creature that just hasn’t been revealed yet, then that explains so much of his behavior and why he treats people like that.

I think so! Because his strenght is inhuman compared to other strong humans (like the hounds), he also has an observable age (30ish or more) in which is impossible to not know so much about the world and life itself. He cannot understand basic concepts like kindness and why the Teach didn't agree with the killing on that villager. And I am pretty sure in the first chapters a BUILDING crumbled ON TOP OF HIM and he got up like it was nothing. So he's not human. The design itself of the tattoos and the stitches must mean something too! Nothing is casual in a piece of visual media.

Is just my theory, of course. Let's see what the author confirms. But thank you for your response!! I love theorizing on what I read. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
