wait why is he a beta now? im confused

Mc was a rut partner for 4 years. Ml released pheromones violently during his ruts which he doesn’t remember cause he was medicated. Mc was also heavily drugged - contraceptives and suppressants at the same time (which do not go well combined). So all this has negatively affected the mc, his body is not functioning properly and his phermone levels have gotten so low that he could as well be identified as a beta
