She just wanted to live her life differently and was even content to let them be together in this life because she thought they were in love. You do know what quotes around a word means right? It means a loose interpretation of the word. And in this case it means a loose interpretation of revenge. Her just doing her own thing and thinking that she'll just let the two lovebirds be together can be interpreted as a sort of revenge, especially when she doesn't admit her own fault in the whole mess either. I can't stand these kinds of "revenge" stories. If she was the one who forced the marriage in the first place, how is it anyone else's fault that you're not loved in the marriage??
What's there to get revenge for, you are literally the bad guy here. Revenge stories need to actually make proper sense of why the main character is the victim, not just a wannabe victim.
