I personally hope that ml mother finally finds out that he found his 'rainwater', learns how he is treating mc and slaps the taste out of his mouth and maybe seeing his mother disappointed will start a slow turnaround. I don't think this is going to have too much of a redemption arc. (No replies I don't read them)
