Grayson slowly but surely falls for Dane....a man who genuinely believes that he cannot fall in love with anyone, and also that his life is worthless and keeps risking it for literally anyone. So Grayson is constantly scared for Dane even before he realizes he's in love with him, then once he realizes and tells Dane that he loves him Dane is like 'uuuuhhh...we should stop sleeping together then, it's not fair to you since I'm not in love with you'. And then Dane walks into a bomb threat without a second thought. Grayson has spent his whole life breaking hearts and not caring and his inability to get Dane to even admit he has the capacity for love, let alone might love Grayson, is hilarious
