No, she stayed as Perez's sth like attendant. Although she has feelings for him, she know her place so well. Remember the swordsmanship book that Tia gave to Perez? It was actually from the fallen knight family which apparently Romana's family. She was the heiress of that noble family that was trampled by the "bandits" which is the Empress Family "The Angenas" it was also the reason why Tia call her Lady Romana in their first meeting because of her noble lineage. So, Tia succeeding as the matriarch of Lombardi is actually Romana's push to succeed as the head of her family.
