Well jiwon to begin with is a very shy character, the things that happened with his coach I think only broke his confidence in himself down more. We see it less in his hobbies/sport because he can directly see progress and quality. When it comes to relationships, self assurance, and honestly accepting the fact that he is dating someone who’s career can immediately hit a wall if their relationship becomes public would be overwhelming for most let alone someone who already had issues. I think he is also is kindve slow im not arguing that by any means he is absolutely dense and cant really understand social cues but I think that the whole point is that jungwoo completes him for what he lacks. For how jiwon is shy and polite, jungwoo is outgoing and blunt. I do. Definitely get the frustration though, I saw thw story as more of a him realizing he can be allowed to be happy with jungwoo and jungwoo already having some experience in relationships and knowing him being patient where he normally wouldn’t be because how much he loves jiwon. That’s how I read it atleast.

I get the trauma. But how is your trauma about your coach affecting your everyday life making you DUMB (tho it was funny at first it soon became unbearably annoying), but you're somehow incredibly confident about your gym (and photography) skills?
