When I read the novel, I was also disappointed that this was the route they took. But I found it funny that before the sex it was ML who was torn about it (as seen here) and he was the gentlest ever. Definitely wait for further chapters and if you still can't see the chemistry, there's no shame in dropping something you don't like.

Idk man 45 chapters of serious, realistic plot for them to get together in the silliest, most unrealistic way. Like who the hell goes "sleep with me if you want me to do X" are you not embarrassed... this wasn't worth 45 chapters, it could've happened on the first chapter. Ill see how the next chapter unfolds but for now I'm disappointed, there's no chemistry at all.
