I kinda like it too. Especially during the moments when the ml goes nuts and the Mc has to take the lead even though he's scared. It's nice.
i think it works so well here because it’s a hellish nightmare scenario where it’s warranted lol ! even the one person he’s met there is frankly weird and can be unsettling despite being well meaning
Also maybe lowkey controversial but I actually like crybaby MCs like it’s nice to see people showing emotion especially as someone who used to be a major crybaby and got bullied so hard for it
