I kind of love that the Bilotian royal parents were absentee & neglectful, and its not being brushed over, like they aren't still responsible for how their lack of parenting formed their extremely distant children. Isabelle is the first time they've realized that a child needed their warmth, and that makes sense bc she was born talented but terminal. Many parents in situations where one child is born sickly will end up doing this -- favoring the sickly child.
That being said... I hope Isabelle's influence also ends up making the King & Queen realize that they've been absent of their other children. Isabelle herself seems .... somehow still mildly ignorant to the fact that her parents care for her so much????? Which is how I don't think Isabelle will get to a point where she is interfering directly with the family dynamic ???? (ie: scolding her parents to give praise and attention to her brothers' achievements and hard work as well, etc) But who knows I rly like this manhwa otherwise
