It's because the pronouns in Korean is neutral. Its best that you treat those mistranslations as gender neutral temporarily, then maybe after few moments the context gets clearer. I hope that helps, even if you didn't ask.
Well it's mtl so yea it's a common situation. The gender pronouns is the same in korea (and in many asian country) so when it's translated to English the machine just give whatever gender it want lol
Yeah I was like "who are you talking abt..." Especially when you cant really tell whether this one character that they're talking abt is a man or a woman (i'm not necessarily only talking abt this particular manhwa)
Agree, it's reasonable to drop a Manwha due to mistranslations. Everyone has done it, especilly when the comic isn't popular enough for high quality translations
It really pisses me off when they mistranslate the character's gender when it's really show what they are, unless it's mentioned otherwise
