I'm a big fan of asumiko nakamura's works and I've always been praising their ability to write poetic realistic stories with obviously flawed characters this started in that way but smth at the end shifted I can't really get youji nor can I find his abuse " justified" ( abuse is never justified if you're in this situation please leave your partner for your own safety) it's missing a certain spark I usually find in this author's work ( pun not intended) tomori tho is an incredible character I wish we could see more of her
