the reveal of myeong-il's complaint letter at the end of chapter 36 lowkey made me tear up. his use of incorrect spelling revealing that he didn't even receive an adequate education + the last line "do what a prison is supposed to do" showing the negligence of correctional systems/prisons, along with the content the letter was about... it really feels like a critique on the criminal justice system. i know the author probably didnt intend to do that and im reading too much into it but i cant help but sympathise with myeong-il and what he represents in reality :((
