I dropped 20 soemthing chapters in because it wasn't very entertaining and stuff kept making me uncomfortable. All this talk of people expecting a teenager sold as an 8 year old to get pregnant .. and the ML always acts like he's sorry for neglecting her but not sorry for actually agreeing to such a disgusting marriage in the first place (and we know it's not just that "times were different" because they mention that he received extensive criticism for it). The FL lead goes on and on about wanting to stand for herself on her own merit and then turns around and begs an unwilling guy to get her pregnant. If it actually gets better- more entertaining, and less disturbing, and the characters grow to recognize that their way of thinking sucks- please let me know so I can pick it back up. Im sure they're trying to set up character development here but it's just making me uncomfortable.
