This is such a weird comment. No, Jiwook doesn't deserve this. I dont think you realize that this isnt some revenge story where Juyeon wants redemption only. He's obsessed with Jiwook to the point he acts the same way he did and goes farther.
Jiwook has no recollection of what he did and has done. Juyeon clearly knows this, and despite Kwon Jiwook basically being an entirely "new" person, he continues to torture him without telling him why it's even happening.
It's unfortunate because this could've been a good revenge story, but it's abundantly clear that the author has a rape fetish and wants to make Juyeon appealing despite his obvious insanity (which the readers are actually falling for.)
its not over obsession- juyeon can give less damns about jiwook. the only reason he's doing this is because he wants revenge. jiwook raped, manipulated, black mailed, gang r4ped, and traumatized juyeon mother. juyeon is doing the same thing jiwook did to him in the past because he wants jiwook to feel the same thing he felt. its not over obsession its all about revenge and if he's plan ends up getting fucked up he might kill jiwook himself. their both in the wrong jiwook should've never did the things he did in the past and juyeon doesnt need to go this far. and that isnt an weird comment because their right.
No, it’s not really a revenge story like other poster said. Juyeon’s revenge isn’t proportional to what Jiwook did to him as kids- like at all. If it was, he would’ve finished this ‘revenge’ by now.
it’s also important to note that Juyeon wasn’t going to get ‘revenge’ initially, he still had feelings for Jiwook, and then Jiwook had his accident. It’s only upon realising that Jiwook hadn’t changed as a person (post accident) and would never feel remorse for what he did, that Juyeon fixates on this idea of completely breaking down Jiwook- to fundamentally change him as a person.
We’ve still got a loooong way to go, but Jiwook is a complete mess and shell of himself by the end, unable to function at all without Juyeon. And Juyeon too just becomes more and more obsessed with breaking down Jiwook, having him under his thumb to do whatever he wants to. So they end up with this miserable codependency, which for Juyeon is a prison of his own making.
What you on about gang, Jiwook deserve every second of it! Not only he orchestrated a gang rape of 14 y/o but also record and send the vdo to his mother! I'm just mad about the other rapists. Why Juyeon let them go! Juyeon know he should hate Jiwook with passion but he loved him too much that's why he's behaviour is sometime off hard to believe but he is still taking care of him at least he is enjoying himself to some extent, Juyeon didn't have the luxury to feel good even.

I mean, other person kinda answered your question- why did Juyeon let the other rapists off? Because he’s obsessed with Jiwook, it was only Jiwook he had feelings for. That’s why you can’t chalk this up to just being a simple revenge story-because, as you point out, Juyeon doesn’t get revenge on the other rapists.
I mean I get why he is deserving of this treatment but I am confused the people who actually assaulted Juyeon are not getting any punishment.
