The best example of games where you can find Yuhan archetype is in gacha games with commander (arknight, ash echoes). In a lot of gacha the MC is never fighting in battle even though they are said to have fought as well. MC's the "player" avatar and is responsible for when and how your units use their skills. Sometimes, much like Yuhan, MC can give small/big buffs, cast barriers, or even launch some attacks but the number of times MC can directly act in battles is limited, unlike the units.
Yeah, the others CAN strategize but it's not as great as a "commander". The point of someone giving orders at the back is that they have a wider view of the battle, unlike with those currently fighting. If you were in a close-combat type of situation with someone in a life-or-death battle, would you still take the time to look behind you if your teammates are in a great position? It's simply time-consuming and looking the other way can put you in a great disadvantage with your opponent.

Just think of it as having military commander giving orders from HQ where he got the map and enemy info + position on display. The fantasy elements is he can do that on actual battlefield + giving buffs to his squad
He seems to be able to give buffs too so hes a support+ commander think someone like cerydra from hsr

Like everyone is fighting while he just stands there waving his flag and giving orders ? - can anyone explain cause I’m not seeing him as important like the others can definitely strategize and fight for example park siwoo - idk I feel like imagine if you were in a battle and in action and someone keeps screaming orders at you
