but not messy in a fun way- it’s just stupid plot points and forced romance.. it started neat and i liked that the dad wasn’t immediately forgiven.. but then the FL kept getting PUT THROUGH THE FUCKIN WRINGER.. ofc she doesn’t think she matters bc every time she lets her guard down she gets kidnapped, nearly killed, AND considering she wasn’t shown much affection growing up she has an avoidant attachment towards relationships— you gotta learn how someone likes to receive affection then go based off that.
also the blonde mage/cousin is fucking douche.. his personality sucks and i hate that he straight up tries to kill the CHILD prince! that’s fucked! dude got sooo pressed that the prince called him out that he tries to kill him? why is this just so casually included? also the ML (prince, unfortunately) is hella emotionally maladaptive.. and poorly written.. it’s a mess..
and alongside the messy family tree, you have the dragons who want to- kill the MC bc.. uh.. ig she can house the BBEG that her mom and “dad” sealed away? or maybe the golden dragon is just a PDF? tbh- i forgot because there’s so much going on and it’s pretty poorly explained (〜￣△￣)〜
