i love hitoshi lmfao. he's a spineless doormat in so many ways but he has heart. he knows what he wants (a hot boyfriend by his side as he continues to coast by) and he has his demands (the clothes stay on during sex mah-kun!) and his small braveries (??arson). such a fun subversion of the usual damsel uke who lies there and takes it from the big bad Protector/Violator.

the authors end note: "since my brain is that of a middle schooler, he became a super hacker" exactly! lean into the indulgence and the comedy. but i love that being a super hacker making millions never fully satisfied. the chase grew dull without a home to come back to. sometimes our dumb little lives with the people we love are the only reason worth living.
