Idk why but i think in bl ppl tend to ignore when the bottom is the one doing the SA/rape like some of them would do things to the top while they're unconscious and u wouldn't see anyone talk about it

They also tend to ignore when the seme does that
I think people who genuinely gets bothered by sa/rape criticize both
The ones who don't probably don't really care
Once I left a comment criticizing a manhwa for a sex scene were the character was clearly intoxicated and people where saying it was his fault for getting drunk at a gay bar. I legit think their brains are too full of porn lol
Like I understand it as a kink the problem is that most authors don't write it as a kink or with the proper warnings "author recognizes the action as something terrible" instead is something just brushed under the carpet no consequences and to never be brought back and discussed by the characters few do (and some that do kinda do it really badly too "seme: back then what i did was rape wasn't it?please forgive me? Uke: I won't forgive because there's nothing to forgive I never thought of it as rape" uke was literally blackmailed into a relationship, real scene from an yaoi) It's tiring

SO TRUE!! SA by semes is kinda brushed under the rug simply because it happens so often we're desensitized (it's now stranger if it doesn't happen, authors loooove it...), but SA by ukes is often not even recognized as such (sometimes they even depict it as comic relief wtf??), not even by readers. Unpopular opinion but it personally makes me a bit sicker when the rapist is the uke, because he's usually the main character and we're supposed to at least TOLERATE the main character aren't we?! If the seme SA's the uke I can hate him together with other readers and hope for revenge or something to cope, but if the main character does it then why am I even reading a story from the POV of a sexual offender? (yes, as you may have guessed, I'm the type that self-inserts :D) Ok I went off on a tangent but still, you're right, when it happens I only ever see a few people at most talking about it in the comments, is it an extension of how reverse rape is often not treated seriously in real life? Or maybe in a lot of such stories the seme is usually worse so the uke doesn't have to be accountable

been debating abt this but I just kept getting attacked or ignored when I point it out, ridiculous.

I agree with Naty Hunter that I have seen many people criticize it, but they're mostly going to get flak for it. In my opinion, people treat the bottom like the 'woman' of the relationship and many people still have the belief woman cannot rape or vice versa, men cannot be raped by women, so when you see the bottom partake in SA/rape, many people just sweep it under the rug because they don't view the top as having been victimized.
