In BJ Alex the MC had more backbone than Kim Dan. The ML had to fight for MC's feelings and had a good redemption arc. But in Jinx were nothing like this. I still get the popularity of Jinx.
There is no amount of side stories that would make me satisfied or excuse the ending. I’m not saying that kim dan shouldn’t be together with jaekyung cause i know he likes him but the ending still felt rushed to me. Now i don’t know if there would be side stories (according to the comments there will be?) and dont know if the side stories gonna include heesung and potato or just jaekyung and kim dan again, but if it’s kim dan and jaekyung again… i have some questions…
why have side couples in the first place if the author decide to not include them?
And why rush the ending if you gonna have side stories about the main couple if that is?
Instead focus on better ending for the main couple and let the side stories be “extra” or let them be just for heesung and potato. I know that some people have said that there would be risks to dragging out the story more if the author choose to include all kim dan and jaekyungs “day to day life” and jaekyungs personality development, but really, Dragging it out 10 or 20 chapters to actually see how they adapt to their new life as a couple and how they actually got there is better than “they got engaged, the end”.
Whatever mingwa is gonna choose to continue with, i respect that. But for me, this is the end (Which technically it is so i’m not “dropping it” )
