Yeah, I like this, but it was rushed; the WHOLE POINT of chapter 1 was explaining how MC was a party boy who changed his ways after marriage, but we don't really explore that. He just becomes a great dad and an affectionate husband instantly--which isn't bad, but it makes it becomes easy for people to forget what he was originally like. He has legitimate concerns about ML being attacked if they're not marked, but it wasn't fair to ask him to quit--since this happens A LOT in omegaverses. I'm glad he changed his mind, but it felt like a rushed resolution; he regretted what he said immediately and ML realized he wasn't as good of a dad (from his POV).
Thanks for mentioning that part! As much as I have ragged on the ML, the MC is just as bad at communication! He believes that they should just take what they're given and honestly that is the 2nd thing that I didn't like about him. Like, sir! What if your family loses everything, what will you rely on????? He also jumps to conclusions really fast instead of talking things out bc he's immature as much the ML is.

The first argument he wasn't even going on the stereotypical "I'll provide for us" he essentially said quit everything, stay home, don't leave and our parents will provide for us. Like why the fuck would that make me feel any more secure about this less than 2 year (and only a like 2 months ago did they actually start to mutually develop feelings) relationship?! And y'all complaining about the actor stepping in, he just got told that his co-worker (now friend's) husband tried to force a bond and make him quit his job and now that same husband shows up at his work to try to convince him to come back you'd let him in? Also they work on a set as actors, this could create a huge scandal and affect other jobs so I truly have no idea why y'all are made at the actor.
Summary: This was made to be wrapped up quick with a concept that could have been explored better if it were longer
