It hurts me so much that ML doesn’t believe that he will ever be loved because of how fked up his life had been, to the point that he thinks the only way he can hear the one he loves say that he is liked is through threatening with his own death. I can only imagine how lonely it is to live like that, where a beautiful lie (that’s what he thinks) is more valuable that his life… I’m just glad that of all the underlings of his father that was tasked this cum collection duty, MC was the one assigned, he definitely has much more empathy than anyone else in that industry and hopefully ML finaly gets to experience what love is (tho from the ep1 timeskip, it doesn’t seem like they are in a healthy relationship yet)
