When you saw Chase in the flashbacks as a kid, the manhwa artist made a (intentional) mistake, his eyes should have been blue there = not manifested. Before they manifest they are normal, when they manifest (purple eyes) they change.
The earlier they manifest the bigger the problems they have.

That's why he's traumatized to his wits end. Clearly he has those qualities because of his upbringing as a child. I don't know what y'all tryna prove. My only point was that HIS UPBRINGING and the side effects of those drugs DEFINITELY plays a role in his state of mind. No person would be normal if they take that kind of abuse and if they TAKE a lot of MEDICINE to the point of overdose. That ain't normal. A sane person wouldn't even do that lols
The only thing I am saying is that it was chase who chose to take those medicines. The amount was high as he was a dom Alpha and took that much amount of medicine to make act a bit sane. Otherwise he would have completely gone insane. It was those drugs that were atleast making his body stable.

He is consciously taking it, because his body needs it since he's dependent on the drugs. That doesn't negate the side effects tho,,, some of the chapters in the manhwa also show how it affects him. Read chapter 20 again to understand my point. His medication's side effects fucks him out. THAT's my point. The SIDE EFFECT of taking drugs.

Yeah, that def affected his health. But Chase was actually introduced as a violent, moody and sensitive kid. His parents did try everything to things according to his moods. But failed.
And those drugs were actually tested on Grayson first too. So Grayson went through the trial of those medicines before them giving to Chase.

But you read what you wanted to read, since I didn't write anything about his sibling affecting Chase or not affecting him. I was mainly talking about the effect the manifestation has on them, because that and pheromone accumulation have the biggest impact on their character. That is an essential part of the universe the story takes place in.
Yes, also how they grew up, the environment etc. plays a role. But KMIYC is Chase's story, with his and Josh's biased view. So I don't really want to get into that, since I can't discuss that without going into spoilers.
He is still an asshole without those drugs. You all started to get a weird view of Chase. Not everything has to do with his upbringing, trauma etc. Why is it necessary to whitewash a characters? Chase is as the author wanted him to be.
And since you are so into the drug stuff. His father took those stuff for ten year, and that was many years ago. And since Chase doesn't want to release pheromones ( which has nothing to do with his family, by the way), that was his only option before he met Josh the second time.

Lol no. Chase was a sweet boy who just used to cry easily. He has asshole siblings who pushed him down the stairs and thrown in front of the school bus. When he was pushed down the stairs he wasn't even comforted by his daddy (koi) properly because he refused to have a backbone and only listened to ash (papa) and his was very indifferent towards his children too. He only played with his kids so that they would be away from koi and even the 10-12 years old nathenial recognised that. He was being called a weirdo by his 2 older brothers for crying over his dead bird, mind you these are very much normal human feelings. Who family treated him like that and even without drugs he turned out to be crazy then it still would be his family to blame. And ironically Greyson that asshole was the only one in that family who ever gave a fuck about him tho his idea of "helping" others isn't like normal people. You will find out if you read other miller family novels. And please no one hates on my boy chase
I have read all the other novels. The problem is that "some readers" only read to see how everything was for Chase so that they can excuse Chase's every wrongdoings on that. Whatever Chase do, must be cause of others. Chase pheromones, chase medicines, chase upbringings, lack of love from parents, everything is to be blamed only when it comes to Chase. And other children were naturally like that. Maybe they were immune to their upbringing and evrything. Others who have seen nothing but disgust in their father eyes since the moment they were born, never recieved love and comfort either, affected by pheromones cs of early/born manifestation, whose brains are actually affected since childhood, locked up in dark for days, made them have sex when they were children. Nothing affected them at all but only Chase. Yes it was difficult for a chase but others were also children it wasn't easy for them either. In fact, it was chase who got lucky in lots of matters.
I would have ended in jail or even in an asylum if I were Chase. Cause what the fuck is that.. he was such a sweet kid, he doesn't deserve to have that kind of childhood, wtf. And all that drugs man, no wonder he's an asshole in the earlier chapters.
