I guessed this was going to happen because Philip was obviously suffering and constantly on the edge and he only felt a connection to the Sahan who is the only person who understood his trauma. It's unfortunate that he committed suicide and lost what could have been...it's also terrible that Sahan is going to spiral now and bounce between shame and guilt for a looooong time
