Ajhussy

LynxSeoltang June 14, 2026 5:12 am

I feel like the author did not expect Ajhussy and Juhyeok had chemistry so now they're destroying his character as much as they can to drown any possible ship there is abt them. Good Job Author. Now let's talk about how suah coerced and raped Juhyeok. What are we going to do abt that? Obviously nothing. Because it's just like all typical BL type of shit where the ML raped the MC, MC forgives and fall in love like a fool and they'd live happily ever after. So stupid

Just read another story babe I’m not sure what you were expecting. Stop theorizing as to what the author is doing with her own fucking characters and go read something that’s more your taste.

Destroying her character? Are you stupid lol.

He's been consistent since he was introduced from day 1. Juhyeok is the first person he's run into that's both his type and someone that he can't win over the usual way. Why wouldn't be keep trying? He's a guy that chases after pleasure but deep down wants something real not superficial. The latest chapter even shows some depth in him and the possible development of how his story is going to go.

Start reading with your eyes open and stop reading with a moral lense.

do u genuinely think the author didn’t already have the plot and characters planned?? it doesn’t matter whether or not the other characters r weird or “normal” cus the male lead stays the male lead. if u can’t handle rape in ur yaoi then stop keeping up w the ones that contain said content .. ur literally inconveniencing urself and being annoying. stay out of spaces that aren’t for you. idk why you people feel the need to act morally superior over fiction as if u can’t handle or comprehend any complexity in media you consume

"why wouldn't he keep trying?" uh maybe because juhyeok has shown absolutely no romantic interest in him since his character has been introduced from the start? also, the fact that juhyeok said he wanted nothing to do with romance or dating and he'd like it if the older guy would stop, but the older guy still pins him down nd tries to force him w his pheremones.
i understand how the old guy wants something real and the fact that juhyeok doesn't care for his status or materialistic items is something that could potentially mean a lot to him/make him more interested, but at the end of the day, he's still inserting himself into the life of someone who rlly doesn't want anything to do w him.

i get its for drama or wtv and i do agree that his character has been consistent, from day one, in the way that he keeps trying to take advantage of juhyeok, but my god i hate that this shit has become so normalized in bl. ofc the author will write her story the way she wants to, but that doesn't mean ppl aren't allowed to look at it from a critical lens. we ARE the consumers, no?

Except the criticism is the same shit and we're almost 30 chapters in. Lmao, not sure what these people are expecting when the writing pattern hasn't changed. And let's be real here.

    "Su-ah is a rapist"
    "The old guy is creepy"

Whining about a character over and over is not really actual criticism. And while the story isn't deep as fuck, poorly written is the last thing this story is. If you guys stopped moralfagging for one second you'd see this characters and story for what it is. The author isn't mindlessly drawing for the sake of it.

My god you people need to read actual books. I'm talking about TJ the whole time, not Juhyeok dude. My post is critisizing how people think the author is destroying TJ's image for Su-ah's sake because it's not fucking true at all. My post is only pointing out that his actions so far is literally just him being him. He's a guy that has everything, so seeing something he can't get makes him want it even more is a standard trope. Obviously it's wrong and annoying to Juhyeok but that's not the reason I brought it up.

say i strip away my morals, what exactly is the story supposed to be then? a character who's constantly harassed ending up w one of the ppl who assaulted him? i think this story could've went in so much better directions based off the (strong) beginning of the story, but ofc, this author uses rape and coercion as a plot device. if you have to resort to that, especially when the psychological damage of those acts arent expanded on in the story (yet, at least) then it's a completely unnecessary cop out and shit writing.

i read books bro not romance, but i do and i understand that 'wanting something you can't have' is a common trope. i agree that his character HAS been consistent from the start nd that the author has no rzn to slam his character just bc ppl are shipping him w mc. i understood what your comment meant the whole time i still stand by what i said tho bc the old man shouldn't keep trying imo

I'm totally in favor of suspending morality when reading stories, but I hate this "yaoi is like this and always will be" argument. like alright so what? do you expect people to stop saying that it doesn't make sense for a romance to not have romantic things? it doesn't make sense for the main character of a romance manhwa to act like an abuser and that's why it is poorly written.
and I would add that it's also lazy writing, and I believe it's done that way to attract success in the manhwa market.
I'm not trying to say we all have to stop reading the manhwa and cancel all this, I just think it's ridiculous that people like you complain about seeing criticism. everyone has the freedom to interact with this piece of media however they want.
god forbid I complain about the plot in the comments section of the pirate site lol

You don't have to turn off your moral lense but you need to stop reading this story so black-and-white. You people read Yaoi and only ask two questions: "Is the seme a green flag?" and "Is there rape?" If that's all you look for, you're going to miss the well written stories that use those darker tropes.

I get it. What Su-ah did was not okay. You need to acknowledge that and just move on instead of holding grudge and salty about it cause that's not what the story is all about. We're exploring Su-ah's unhealthy love, Juhyeok's conflicting feelings, and whether either of them can move forward from this mess. How are they going to get to their end game cause we know they're going to end up together regardless. If Juhyeok just forgave Su-ah and dropped Judo, THAT would be a n example of a badly written story.

Here's some other things that make this story more nuanced. We've seen multiple moments where Juhyeok's feelings surface on their own when it comes to Su-ah, not just because of pheromones, but he keeps choosing to focus on judo instead. Su-ah respects that choice, yet his love for Juhyeok still causes him to act selfishly. Those contradictions are what make him a morally gray character instead of one-dimensional already.

Another nice thing the author added to the story is that there's also the influence of their parents and other circumstances that contributed to the situation they're in as well.

If all you see is the rape and you can't move past it, then honestly... I don't see why you people stick around to read something you hate.

i can understand the nuances of a character + their development and still dislike them for a shit thing they did. me personally, i don't find rape redeemable.

i can enjoy a story w morally gray characters and psychological elements, but when you decide to pick up a romance called, "you are my world," you don't necessarily expect for the ml/other potential love interests to straight up assault the mc. this is a romance and not much of that, specifically, has happened yet. obv, ik thats gonna come w the story developing, but i still think there was much better ways to go from the start of the story instead of using rape as a plot device, which it WAS used as in this story.

you can explore all the things you mentioned without that, yk? and like i said before, if the story is gonna include rape, all i hope to see is that it's taken seriously.
i still don't get how im supposed to be rooting for someone who was willing to do that to someone they apparently love so much though. i just can't get past that, but that's not to say that i'm not interested in the plot and where the story is gonna take this. i don't hate this story, i just personally think it had a lot of potential in the beginning and to see it end up like every other "toxic yaoi" just kinda sucks.

"I don't see why you people stick around to read something you hate" and I don't understand why people like you care about this. are you friends with the author by any chance?? why do you care if people criticize a manhwa or not? I would never go to someone's good comment about a manhwa and say "shut up and don't bring your compliments to this space!".
If someone makes a comment criticizing the plot of the manhwa or directly presenting their opinion on why they dislike a character, you can respond with your own opinion on why it doesn't make sense, but this "you can't say that here, just leave" behavior is fucking ridiculous
