Greyson had such amazing character development i shed some tears reading the novel
i honestly recommend reading the novel more bcs it was such a ride of emotions
His character development was so good, out of all the crazy millers he was the only one who was willing to let his love go unlike his literal own father

I check the novel in novellight and one of the readers said this "Nowhere in this story, despite some of the funnier situations, do I find Dane actually developing real feelings. The story is a great one about 2 very broken people and more sad than romantic"
No dane did develope feeling for greyson but he was in denial, more like he didn't even realize muchhh later that he infact likes greyson, but even then he was not ready to accept greyson or his own feelings, at the end he finally gave up & accepted his feelings
ppl love to mischaracterize dane so bad just bcs he's a manwhore lmaooo but he did fell for grayson, it just takes so much time bcs he, himself isn't aware of what love is, he was literally abandoned since he was young, he and grayson gave each other the development they need in their life, they were willing to give eo everything

I'm kind of scared about how people are going to portray Dane as someone who never loved Grayson, because he absolutely did. He was just in denial and had never experienced such feelings like that before Grayson came into his life (he literally stop clubbing and having one night stands bcs if grayson, boi was sad af bruh ). Tbf i understand why ppl hate grayson but it worries me how many people are how ppl are arguing with others abt grayson without reading the novel like it's pointless tbh because he genuinely changed a lot. The novel was great I enjoyed it sm, I really hope the author adapts the novel well, because seeing some of the comments in this section is honestly stressing me out lol.
