OMG, me too!! As a novel reader who waited years for the chapters and translations, this manhwa makes me so pissed! The war at Ethylene and what comes after was supposed to be the absolute emotional peak of the story. It is devastating, heavy, and raw—especially getting to see behind Riftan’s tough exterior to how deeply terrified and vulnerable he actually is, none of which was conveyed in the drawings. It's true that a lot is missing because you can't read their inner monologues like you can in the books, but man, it was so rushed and bland. No wonder the manhwa-only readers don't like the characters! This was a time we should have seen that vulnerable version of Riftan, but of course, we couldn't see shit with this art >•<. I really love the novel and reread it all the time, so I wanted to get this off my chest to someone else who has read this masterpiece so they could understand my disappointment

And here comes again yet ANOTHER separation arc full of misunderstandings. We won't be seeing them together for a LOT of chapters when this arc finishes. I can't with this anymore. Honestly. It was much more interesting to read in a book format, we get Maxi's internal monologue so we can feel more emotionally invested. But here, I dare say the art isn't conveying the dept of her emotions so we're just like... meh... I loved this arc in the novel but I didn't feel anything while reading it in this format
