so several comments back, novel readers said that Grayson's a mimic and that he's not like most common people when it comes to human empathy—that most of the Miller fam members are "unique" in a way apparently. it's bad enough that he's currently in a line of business that requires attention and sympathy but even worse that he can't even quit coz of the deal he made with his dad. if i read this without being aware of Grayson's psychological trait i would've been screaming for him to quit regardless of the deal. but here i am worrying coz were probably not gonna see much change to him except for when it comes to Dane later on but for the first time, i am desperately hoping that a character will still learn something about empathy at least as the story progresses
