Banana Scandal has 2 couples. The redemption arc you're looking for is for the 2nd couple. How good it is? It's a decent read, nothing super special but it's still quite good.
Have you been reading BL for a while now? This BL is popular during the pandemic, around 2020 so maybe people you've encountered are reminiscing the time as well. Nostalgia, after all, is a big factor just like how Painter of the Night, BJ Alex, and Love is an Illusion were the big 3 back then. Take not of the nostalgia factor when hearing recommendations from other readers. But Banana Scandal is a lot better than jinx. *wink*
Yeah. I was already reading BL at the time, but I didn't like BL Alex, potn, or love is an illusion. I was just curious about how it's different from other stuff.
I thought it was pretty good. And no notalogia factor here, since I read it in 2024-2025. The story is still just the typical toxic top and infactuated bottom trope though. But tbh the only reason I prefer it over others is because the bottom had more backbone than most, which I enjoyed. I recall the top had to really really grovel and work that trust back.
Can anyone here honestly tell me how good "Banana Scandal" really is? Because it keeps getting recommended here whenever someone asks for a BL manhwa with a good redemption arc... I don't want to start reading it and end up disappointed again.
