I don’t hate it. Yes there’s cliche’s but there is at least the uniqueness with some supernatural qualities. I wonder how the author is going to play out ml’s character. Will it really go down the villain route as the title suggests or will we see his background, come to understand why he is the way he is, and have a redemption arc. I’m not sure which direction it’s choosing because all he’s doing is adjusting to mc with what he knows and instincts(?), whatever it is that’s causing him to become possessive and unhinged.
As for Mc, I really like his character. Like there’s a dude who is evil in his eyes but he still finds the time to be sassy. I love sassy mcs.
