The ML’s parents comes from like business-like marriage that is why ML’s mother is like that. Even their father is also like that. She only cares for her sons and Minho but she really does not know how to convey or to express it. That is why she kept on wondering why ML and minho are both affectionate to FL. She distrust people. She only trust people if she saw how capable and trustworthy are them to her. She is a cold mother to both of her sons but I think she just wanted the best for them and for herself. I also found her selfish as well. But again, she has the business type of mind. She is cold and ruthless if some people betrayed her. Minho’s mom cheated on the brother and ML’s mother found about it. Minho’s mom does not want a divorce but ML’s mom does not want to give her a second chance. The brother lately found out about that. But I can’t really fully blame minho’s mother, ML’s mother does not like her at all and the brother doesn’t stand up against the mother. But cheating is not an excuse. So I kind of agree to your comment that ML’s mom is another villain but she seems so realistic and calculative but at the same she has a point. She is just judgy.
