Honestly kato isn't a better choice... BECAUSE HE ISN'T A CHOICE AT ALL- both are just two wholesome buddies who care for each other platonically and it feels nice for once not to have a dude appear just to serve as 2nd ml that is a stepping stone for the main romance to thrive
Plus, u cant rlly have much depth with only 5 chapters and even author said they wanted to include more... we just gotta take what we have and that's it ig, even tho I also qanted it to be longer to explore more stuff haha so I definitely agree with u! I wish we can get more extras or that it becomes popular enough to either warrant a second volume or a spin off with the friend

Yes exactly!! I admit when he was first introduced, I was like oh here we go cuz I thought the author was gonna make him go after Nao and use him to make keigo jealous, but I was so glad to see that wasn’t the case (▰˘◡˘▰) and their friendship is even more meaningful bcuz of the fact Nao has always struggled with communicating and making/keeping friends ╥﹏╥ that’s why they treasure each other sm !! And I love their platonic friendship yes yes like u said , and yea fingers crossed for another volume/extras (≧∀≦) no need for the tldr either, I love reading replies
Nao and Keigo’s love is so special ╥﹏╥ so I really don’t understand why, some comments are saying kato is better choice..? Nao and keigo are not the “perfect” relationship but the point is that they are growing together and becoming closer bc of it. Their love is so precious and a breath of fresh air from other bl’s, even down to the mature scenes they feel more realistic and like their chemistry builds more and more which I appreciate :,) kato is amazing but as a friend !! It is also heartwarming to see a friend of MC actually be genuinely kind too, with no ulterior motives or backhanded ideas. Even though chapter 5 has the title of the end, I hope there are more chapters or extras to come (●'◡'●)ﾉ
