Oh, it’s a joke entirely based on the English language, not Korean. It wasn’t the sfx I used in the end because it obviously didn’t make sense, but still makes for a silly out of context scene lol. Some sfx in Korean just don’t have a good parallel sfx in English, and you sometimes you just have to compromise. The sfx in Korean was for the motion of him getting the dirt off his gloves, so when translating that motion into English,“clap” is a synonym of getting dirt off your hands lol I could have used smack too, like “smacking the dirt off”, but it didn’t feel right either, at the time, so I just went with brush (brushing the dirt off) because it sounded the best to my sleep deprived, 4am brain (I speed translated all the sfx and added them in as the last step before posting, so I was tired while doing every single one of them lol), anyways, you can filler basically any sfx there as long as his action is still understood lol.

I don't think the right sfx when Jaehyuk took out the trash was "clap clap", he wasn't clapping for the garbage, just kind of shaking off the dirt after throwing it out, but I am not good with sfx either so i wouldn't know which one fits best here lol
