Knotting is trait of an alpha. Basically, the base of their dongs inflates when they climax, so their semen is locked inside the omega/receiver and thus ensuring or at least increasing the chances of impregnation(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I'm reading the novel now. That was actually his first time knotting. It was unexpected for him too. He did acknowledge that what he did, knotting without permission, was a bad thing.
