Re-reading this now, I realized it makes so much more sense after reading Spilled Blood/Take Me In. I also realized that the angst with Heejae only lasted about 10 chapters, but because I was reading it while waiting for updates, it felt like 30 chapters of pure suffering.
I remember being so frustrated because every update somehow made things even worse. Looking back, it wasn’t nearly as long as it felt at the time, but the weekly wait definitely made it unbearable.
I’m just glad that arc is finally over and I’m hoping for even better chapters moving forward. I also can’t wait for the Omegaverse AU to be posted. I love this story so much it’s a 10/10 for me.
