Reading this felt like I was a teenager again, giggling through every chapter. It captured what it feels like to fall in love for the first time. That said, I felt like some parts were lacking, especially during the runaway arc, but that might just be me. One question, though: if something like this happened in real life, would you consider it incest?
No. I think it would be stranger if their mom and dad had been married since they were little and they grew up like brothers. But they knew each other before mom and dad met, and there was already romantic tension beforehand. So no, I wouldn't consider it incestuous. Honestly, incest to me is quite literally only if you are blood related. If you aren't related by blood, then no, it isnt incest.
I first saw this on t!kt0k and thought it was just going to be a fluffy BL, but I was so wrong. I never expected to laugh, cry, and feel so stressed in just one chapter. The childhood trauma that Henry and James went through was heartbreaking, and I am so glad they were able to heal and get through it together. I cried so much over their backstories. Just reading about everything they went through was already painful, and I cannot imagine how much worse it would be if it happened in real life. It is the kind of experience that I would never wish on anyone, not even my worst enemy. The plot twists completely caught me off guard, and the author did such an amazing job with the story. I am so happy that everything worked out for Henry, James, Uncle Vic, Janet, and Tom because they all deserved their happy ending. (▰˘◡˘▰)
