SUMMARY:
This was very well executed and beautifully written. I didn't think it would be possible to write a student teacher relationship without it being gross and messed up, ESPECIALLY with their size difference, but it was executed almost perfectly.

Their sizes were crucial and deeply affected the plot. And his smaller body was not oversexualized because it was small, except for by the bad guys. They also get brownie points because it wasn't oversexualized to the READER either. They only showed what was necessary to get the point across. It wasn't drawn detailed or seductively, except for very small glimpses when he was with the top, being treated as himself and not a child.

THE LONG WHY:
The chemistry between the two was impeccable, making you feel that their love is based on their connection, not their physical attraction. The physical attraction is there, but it wasn't a big factor in why they got together. Their similar traumas and conversations are what drove them together.

(Some minor spoilers)
I don't fault a story for having bad things happen. I fault it when it's used in a cras sugarcoating way. This story was not crass, and DEFINITELY did not sugarcoat. It's a snapshot of a harsh part of the REAL world.

The size difference was executed very tastefully. It wasn't until the second to last chapter that I felt in any way uncomfortable with it. And it was debatable on whether it's acceptable because it was literally the top calling the bottom beautiful. First his face, then his body.

Here's why it's debatable; both of their body sizes are directly related to their trauma, and their similar trauma is what led to their acceptance, respect, and then love of eachother wholly. The top is as large as he is because it was necessary for his survival. He said himself, the minute you start slipping is the minute you die. And the bottom's small size is what led to and amplified how he was prayed upon. He was desired because if his child-like body. This shared trauma of having their unique body imperative to their survival and harm allowed their physical connection to deepen safely.

The top's big juicy succulent pecks aren't for killing anymore, they're for the bottom to admire and enjoy. And the bottom's body is now beautiful because it's his, not because it's small. If the bottom was real, and if I'm correct about the foundation of their connection being emotional before physical, their physical relationship would be incredibly healing for both. Bpttom's being treated as the beautiful and loveable adult he is, despite what the bad guys have told him. Plus we've all met fully grown adult people with smaller body's, they deserve love too. Just because you don't find their body attractive doesn't mean it's always wrong for someone else to. And they is that it was only sexualized to the reader the bare minimum. The top finds him attractive because he's so loveable, but thats for him, not the reader.

THAT'S how to write a story with a small fragile little rabbit of a guy tastefully.
