I don't think rio (wiz) is 12??? That would mean he was around 2-5 (I forget how many years had passed because remember she had almost not made a contract in time because she wanted Rio to be the first), he's probably ~17+ just due to in story timeline reasons. Also the fairy age vs human is vastly different. So I think it is weird that they made her look that much older (which to be fair she spend over 100(?) years in that one space developing her powers more) but probably translates to around his age. Also, if we're even going that route, she was born after Rio was, so if she was a human and this was human years, she'd be much younger. Though relations between fairy and human seem to be uncommon for that very reason, and life expectancy. I think it is VERY strange, may I reiterate that they made her look much older.

Grooming is defined by intention and awareness of being manipulative with said intention of some one being less knowledgeable that you and the groomer taking intentional advantage of the less knowledgeable person. I was thinking of starting this cuz I love fairies. Can some one point me to the intent of manipulation before I start it? I often notice people try to water Grooming down to an age gap
Well, she was born after him...but as a fairy shes born with knowledge and grows faster than him, so technically shes younger than him. She did also teach him to speak and read as well, which shows her gained knowledge. I didnt get the idea of their being any manipulation. Her rapid growth just startles me, when we see the slow growth of the boy. I feel theres hints of romance but main focus is escaping and surviving
