novel reader here! all I can say is despite the common trope, the storytelling is good. the summary of op didn't capture it well. might as well marinate it or read the novel instead. I binged it before, and I enjoyed it (cried even)
he has a tiny tinge of red, only at few situations. There were never bad intentions for the mc until the end, thats what I can assure you. You have to read it to judge yourself.

This is just a typical omega verse yaoi. The top actually fell in love with the bottom at first sight, but he was too dumb to realize it and at one point they got together, but then the top father pressured him to get married, and then he did decide to get married to this another woman and the bottom was so heartbroken. He wanted to leave, but the top locked him up and so on, but at one point, the bottom ran away then the top realize his mistake and he didn’t get married. The sex scenes are nothing fluffy. The novel has like 120 chapters and the dumbass top only realized his feeling in ch 110 smtg.
