It's basically done to show how MC doesn't manage to process the sudden and fast developement himself. I don't think it's that bad as it's just the setup for what's to come. Not everything needs to be written down
Hey so just because something is progressing fast doesn’t mean the author doesnt have a story board sometimes it is purposefully done like that. Either because they have a specific plan or because they intend for it to be a short story. And tbh thats fine. Ive read a lot of 5 chapters mangas that are way better than some 100 chapters manhwas

Hey so just because something is purposefully progressing fast doesn’t mean it has to be confusing and lack direction! Short stories obviously are gonna be fast paced and I’m not arguing otherwise, but they literally teach you in middle school that having a billion different settings in such a short writing span is gonna get confusing. And obviously there are gonna be good writers who are exceptions, and can write an extremely fast paced story in less than 5 chapters, but this just isn’t one of them.
